A cooperative project with the Department of Culture and Tourism for heritage culture buildings in the United Arab Emirates. The aim of the project was to repurpose the Al Qubaisi House site in Al Ain, which is an adaptive, sophisticated design in keeping with modern heritage.

The first step involved analyzing the site and creating a database for Bayt Al Qubaisi, and designing the adaptive reuse project was the second step.

The new adaptive reuse concept was a cinema for the entire community representing the culture of the Emirates and the new media of the UAE.

 

The design is used between the existing traditional building and the new modern architecture containing the new raw materials. The center provides its users with a range of events that include educational, social and entertainment elements. Exclusive shows for Emirati and Arab films.
